Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting, with a preference for public accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
