Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and fixed assets.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll and ensure accurate tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to budget and forecast financial performance.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong understanding of tax laws and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
