We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute to our financial reporting and operational efficiency immediately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of journal entries.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analysis reports.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns in collaboration with external auditors.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
