Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable including coding, batching, and payment execution.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve invoice questions and payment terms.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate digital and hard copy filing systems for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
