Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax returns and local compliance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data security and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and error detection.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
