Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with local and state tax preparation and filings to ensure full compliance.
- Review financial reports for accuracy and identify areas for potential cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
