Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports with high accuracy.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- AP/AR Management: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining accurate records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to GAAP and internal company policies.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist the finance team with month-end payroll processing and reporting.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to reflect accurate financial data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
