Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of precision.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct internal audits and support external auditors during their reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and electronic records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Experience working the night shift is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
