Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of local and federal tax filings and audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
