Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.</li><li>Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.</li><li>Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.</li><li>Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.</li><li>CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
