Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate daily, monthly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct internal audits and financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
