As an Accountant at Apex Financial Partners, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing tax returns, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. We offer a competitive benefits package and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (Junior Accountant or recent graduate with internship experience considered).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
