Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership on financial forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Lead accounts reconciliation and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Sage)
- Knowledge of Nebraska state tax regulations
