- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare complex financial statements and regulatory compliance documentation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable workflows and process improvements
- Collaborate with audit teams and ensure GAAP compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
