Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and customer billing is accurate.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary financial data and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
