Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
