Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for management.
- Ensure all financial audits are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
