Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly/yearly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop/implement financial controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
