Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to management.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
