Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and posted in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and internal control reviews.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing financial variances and recommending improvements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
