Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and ledgers in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure all financial controls are in place.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation processes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and process expense reports efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (CPA preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
