Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger items with high accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all tax filings are current.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and audits.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and tax preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
