Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for small to medium-sized businesses
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process payroll and manage tax filings (1099s, payroll taxes)
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks for clients
- Collaborate with audit teams during compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
