Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank/credit card accounts weekly
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial data management and reporting
- Assist with audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Train staff on accounting procedures and software
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
