Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and general ledger maintenance using QuickBooks Online.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure all filings are compliant.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and expense audits.
- Generate payroll reports and assist in payroll processing.
- Communicate financial status to management via clear, concise reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid setting.
