Job Summary:
As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial health. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to launch their accounting careers.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and ledgers.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
