Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for small to mid-sized businesses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings (quarterly/yearly)
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Support audit preparation and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote environment
