Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and identify any discrepancies for resolution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track financial data and generate necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
