Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with external audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and ensure depreciation calculations are accurate.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
