Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and year-end close procedures.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account balances and invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Los Angeles, CA.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
