Responsibilities

  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and manage accounts receivable collections.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for select clients.
  • Month-End Close: Assist in the closing of monthly books, including adjusting entries and financial reporting.
  • Banking & Compliance: Prepare bank deposits, reconcile petty cash, and ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, specifically in a busy accounting environment.
