Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis to ensure data accuracy.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for select clients.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the closing of monthly books, including adjusting entries and financial reporting.
- Banking & Compliance: Prepare bank deposits, reconcile petty cash, and ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients regarding their financial inquiries and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, specifically in a busy accounting environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, manage large volumes of data, and maintain confidentiality.
