Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process invoices and maintain vendor relationships.
- Ensure all financial records are up to date and compliant with tax regulations.
- Support the payroll process by verifying time sheets and payroll data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight weekly deadlines.
