Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards
- Process payroll with weekly disbursement and maintain meticulous employee records
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and subsidiary ledgers
- Support tax preparation and documentation for federal, state, and local filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows for enhanced efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekly payroll processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software platforms
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and reporting
