Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
- Perform monthly financial analysis to identify variances and provide recommendations to management.
- Ensure timely filing of tax documents and support the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-5 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
