Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist external auditors during the year-end audit process with weekend availability.
- Process payroll adjustments and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in a financial reporting or accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Demonstrated experience handling weekend financial closings or shift work.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
