Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for leadership review
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during off-hours as needed
- Implement and optimize internal controls for overnight financial processes
- Monitor cash flow and financial metrics to ensure operational stability
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures during night shift hours
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage a plus)
- Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions with 100% accuracy
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
