Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the weekend accounting cycle.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review and audit financial documents for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Generate financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in general ledger accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
