Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Perform general clerical accounting functions and data entry.
- Perform internal audits and assist with tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
