Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are posted accurately and timely.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures to ensure financial data is up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting to support budgeting and strategic planning.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to provide necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
