We are seeking a reliable individual to manage our financial records during our peak weekend operations. If you are an expert in accounting software and possess a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial records are up to date.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate financial reports and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
