Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced accurately and on time.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Generate detailed financial reports and variance analyses for executive leadership review.
- Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Support the internal audit process by providing organized documentation and requested records.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
