Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation
- Implement and improve bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Valid Indiana driver's license for occasional client meetings
