Responsibilities
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts with high accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable specifically for the weekend operations.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and balance sheets.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filings and financial documentation.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; weekend shift experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend hours.
