Responsibilities
- Execute daily bank reconciliations and journal entries for the weekend period to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high precision.
- Review and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, trial balances, and general ledgers.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Identify discrepancies in ledgers and implement corrective actions immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Must be available to work a consistent weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
