Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and audit documentation.
- Review and approve expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance department to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
