Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and bank statements.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
