Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions weekly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients and process incoming payments.
- Assist with payroll processing for weekend staff and contractors.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for client records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or CPA preferred.
