Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all weekend transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform comprehensive bank and credit card reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Communicate financial findings and discrepancies to the Finance Manager clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
