Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing for weekend staff.
- Review and categorize expense reports with a high level of precision.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift.
