Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Process payroll and handle tax filings as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekends.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Certified Bookkeeper (CBS) or CPA license is a plus.
